Jesus was born during a time when the Jews were suffering under Rome and Caesar Augustus, but God, in his perfect timing, remembered his people. Jesus wasn’t the saviour the Jews were expecting, but instead he came to save a suffering people through his own suffering. Jesus came to do the will of his Father.
